Dear Member Boards,
SBCI is pleased to announce the appointment of Judi Goldsworthy to the role of Director of Health and Safety, effective March 23, 2026.
With more than 30 years of experience in Health and Safety in the public education sector, Judi has served in three School Boards over the course of her career and brings extensive expertise in WSIB matters, Disability Management, Attendance Support and Workplace Wellness.
At the provincial level, Judi has supported School Boards through her leadership roles as both member-board representative and Director of SBCI and OASBO.
Judi is the 2024 recipient of the prestigious McCordic Award from the Ontario Association of School Business Officials. This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the service of school boards and public education across the province.
Judi is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and holds the Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) and Certified in Management (C.I.M.) designations. She has formal education in Business Administration – Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, and Adult Education.
Judi brings a passionate and holistic approach to health and safety and looks forward to joining the SBCI team and advancing its work in support of member school boards, staff and students.
