SBCI Showcases Leadership at the Annual Schedule 2 Employers Group Conference - September 24 - September 25
On September 24 and 25, SBCI proudly sponsored and participated in the Annual Schedule 2 Employers Group (S2EG) Conference, held at the Sheraton Parkway North Hotel in Markham. The event brought together over 350 attendees from across the province to share insights, strategies, and innovations shaping workplace safety, disability and claims management.
SBCI was well represented throughout the conference. Susan Postill delivered an engaging session on “Reconsiderations at All Appeal Levels,” while Will Thompson partnered with PSHSA to co-present “Proactive Risk Assessments for Workplace Violence in the Public Sector: Safeguarding Staff and Sustaining Services.” Both sessions drew strong attendance and excellent feedback, highlighting SBCI’s expertise and thought leadership in the sector.
As part of our sponsorship, SBCI hosted the Networking Reception, providing attendees with a valuable opportunity to connect and collaborate. We also hosted a thank-you dinner for our school board partners and attending staff, with over 35 guests from various boards joining us for an evening of great conversation and connection.
